Case – Road accident at a roundabout

This was a particularly hard-fought case, as it arose out of a road accident that occurred on a roundabout. In these types of incidents, it is notoriously difficult to prove whether they are wholly the fault of one single party.

Outcome – Capital Lawyers came to a settlement of who was at fault

Despite this, Capital Lawyers, with the assistance of their preferred trial barrister, Stephen Hines of CityGate Chambers, were able to persuade the judge that the bus driver was 100% responsible for the accident.

The claimant, who recovered more from the defendant than her own offer, was awarded compensation accordingly. In the end, we successfully pursued our client’s case to trial and secured compensation for them of over £9,000.
